 Introduction

The Business Administration Department in SIMAD was established and began to work on July 2003. The main purpose of establishing this department is to create, develop and provide well-qualified and well-informed managers that are capable of managing and developing business enterprises and other organizations.  

 

Reasons leading to the establishment of the department

The demand for technical education is rapidly increasing everywhere in the world. Parallel to this requirement a profound focus is on educational institutions to put their activities in accordance with the current needs.

During of programs

SIMAD study periods are four semesters in the diploma program and six semesters (including the four in the diploma level) in the degree program, i.e. two years for diploma and three years for degree level programs respectively. 

Curriculum

The curriculum of business Administration Department (SIMAD) is more comprehensive and upgraded in terms of modern concept and structure.

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is a Degree program of three years duration divided into six semesters. The requirement of the Degree is one hundred twenty (120) credit hours.
