Finance Department Information

The overall goal of the department is to manage effectively and efficiently the institute’s scarce resources.

Main duties of the department

• To manage finance resource in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• To protect against misappropriations and frauds
• To establish basic internal controls on cash receipts, cash maintenance and disbursements 
• To produce an accurate and relevant information to management for decision making 
• To assure adherence to management’s policies 

Main dimensions of the department

• Developing financial policies and procedures
• Developing and training the staff
• Re-designing and re-engineering the department in general
• Developing the communication between the department and the institute in general.
