Human Resource Management Department Information

 

The SIMAD Human Resource Department (formerly the SIMAD Personnel Office) was established in 1st November, 2007.The Director of Human Resource reports to the Dean/acting dean of SIMAD.

The Human Resource Department:

 

  • Supports the Human Resource needs of the SIMAD and it’s centers
  • Promotes organizational vitality through effective and efficient administration of the SIMAD human resource functions;
  • Works to maintain an environment which encourages all employees to achieve the SIMAD’s mission and their department’s goals;
  • Supports the continued growth and the development of the SIMAD’s most valuable resource, its PEOPLE.

Mission : The mission of the Human Resource Department is to support and honor the SIMAD’s most important resources, its PEOPLE. Human Resources support the mission and the goals of the SIMAD by promoting a productive and diverse community through people services, guidance and education.

Vision: The vision of the Human Resource Department is to serve as a benchmark for other departments in the SIMAD by:-

  • Providing quality services and programs
  • Being an informed and knowledgeable HR staff
  • Working effectively as a team, and
  • Utilizing state of the art technology

Values: The Human Resources Team values:

  • Quality service (service excellence) – that is responsive supportive, and accurate
  • Highly Ethical Conduct - reflecting honesty, integrity, and fairness
  • Dignity and Respective – for one another and for all members of SIMAD’s diverse community
