Throughout my education at SIMAD I actually knew that that sort education would pay off one day. No sooner did I graduate that I had been employed. I had a very good experience even before my graduation but the syllabus at SIMAD and the business oriented teachings there led me to stay where I am now. Being bank manager of the country's most prestigious remittance company is quite challenging but I literally enjoy my day-to-day business due largely to the contribution of SIMAD. Keep hopes high.

No doubt the chance SIMAD gave us is enormous, but what is very much interesting is that the institute still persues its tradition of excellence and commitment even after ten years of service under an utter horor of civil wars. 
 
My monthly income has quadrupled since my graduation and frankly speaking I did not learn only technology, business etc but a whole set of must-knows for 21st century businesses.

Without SIMAD I doubt how I could handle such vast responsibilites that are under my authority right now. The combination of holistic, constantly updated curriculum and genuinely committed lecturers led me build my career.

After graduating SIMAD with Bachelor degree of Information Technology (IT) , Amal Bank of Somalia recognized my degree and accepted my promotion request about the upgrading of the field position including the salary.
Then I joined the management team of the company. As this was also where I got my second evaluation of my degree from SIMAD, I knew it was going to be a great place to work. As a operational manager of the Amal Bank, I was involved in a major revamp of the bank specially in Information Technology office which is the heart and backbone of our company. I have also been given an opportunity to take lead roles in various design and optimization projects around different units in the Information Technology Department which has been a very rewarding experience.

Studying Information Technology at SIMAD has prepared me well for these positions. Information Technology at SIMAD is largely project and team-based, which is what it is like in the real world. The focus the course places on problem-solving and analytical thinking has also been very beneficial, as such skills are highly valued in the workplace. The evidence is that SIMAD graduates are highly rated and recognised worldwide as they are accepted their post-graduate education unhindered.

At the moment, I work as software engineer and consultant for major Somali businesses in financial and telecomunication sectors. 
As an IT graduate from SIMAD's Bachelors program, I would like to congratulate SIMAD family for the success gained in the last 10 years in an extremely volatile and hostile country.
I find SIMAD to be a big part of the success that I have had. Earning my degree from SIMAD has opened a new realm of perspective and knowledge for me - I now realize how beneficial education is and how important continuous learning is for my personal and professional development.

I spent countless nights thinking over 20 institutes and universities in my quest for the best combination of quality and financial aid to join when finished my secondary school. I am actually deligted to be one of SIMAD alumni network, and this is a great opportunity for me to thank the founders of this fantastic institute.
Really it was a very humble start when they were founding SIMAD and arguably nobody could think it will score such this triumph in education sector.

The contribution SIMAD gave to my life is enormously disproportionate to any other thing in my life. I was a normal employee in multiple companies, but no sooner did I graduate from SIMAD than every one was trying to convince me to join them with stricking salary packages ! SUPERB.

As a chief accountant in one of the nation's most reputed banks and remittance companies, I handle  thousands of transactions per month with accuracy and confidence. Of course, behind my day-to-day success is SIMAD's rigorous syllabus in Accounting and real life practice exercises I have had during my days at the institute. Thanks.

I can say SIMAD is the only institution that has considerably contributed to the development of the country in the past decade. It had enormously helped those striving to learn direcly or indirectly by providing a platform in they can unleash their potential.

To me, joining SIMAD was a superb choice I have made. After my graduation from the Information Technology I had benefited a lot as an internship in ICT, Network Administration, and teaching.

After having completed my diploma study here in SIMAD, I become member of SIMAD staff.

I have handled different titles in the institute including SIMAD-BAKAARA Campus Director. At present I am the general secretary of the institute and lecturer in the accounting department.

SIMAD, our beloved institute, has actually contributed to our achievements we might have not reached otherwise. Without SIMAD, we couldn’t arrive at where we are now. Thanks to those who had the idea of establishing this institute, and those who have sacrificed their time for SIMAD activities.

I was a drop-out before the outbreak of civil war. I considered myself I won’t get high education and just sitting in tea shops gazing at pedestrians would be the only option I would have.

it really seemed to me at first, SIMAD was unrealistic in its attempt to fill the gap of a higher education institute. But no sooner did I start my education at the institute than I felt I got the right choice for maintaining my education.
